Our membership comprises local and national voluntary organisations, as well as some local authority managed provision. Information, advice, counselling and support services offer a holistic, multi-skilled and flexible approach to the wide range of young people’s needs.
Many of Youth Access members employ a combination of trained paid and volunteer staff to deliver their services, this includes information and advice workers, counsellors, group, support and outreach workers.
These multi–disciplinary teams are able to provide a range of services to young people in an ‘under one roof’ model of provision. This enables young people to get help with legal rights based problems such as housing and benefit problems alongside help for emotional and mental health difficulties within a therapeutic counselling relationship.

Our members are expected to provide services to young people within a framework of our nationally agreed values, core principles and quality standards. See the 'Our Values and Principles' section on this website for more information.
