Working Together for Advice project

Working Together for Advice Logo

Since January 2008 Youth Access has been engaged in a major partnership project with other advice networks, including Citizens Advice, Law Centres Federation, Advice UK and Age Concern.

The Working Together for Advice (WTfA) project is managed by Advice Services Alliance and funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Advice Plus programme until 2010.

The overall aims of the WTfA project are to:

  • increase access to advice
  • enhance the quality of advice
  • demonstrate the value of advice
  • improve the efficiency of advice services
  • build the capacity of the advice sector

The services to be provided under the project are being delivered through eight workstreams:

  • Developing access to advice
  • User and stakeholder involvement
  • Enhancing frontline advice
  • Developing a quality mark
  • Advice outcomes
  • Developing discrimination advice
  • Workforce development and training
  • Promoting advice
