Suitable for: Youth information/advice workers to develop coherent strategies and practices to help young people make more sense of their money and increase their financial capability.

Course Structure: A one day participative course providing; supporting toolkits, skills, knowledge and confidence to work more proactively with young people in money matters.

Aim: To give a greater awareness and confidence to engage young people in money matters.

Course content:

• The psychology of young people and money · Income, budgeting and banking
• Costs of credit and comparing credit deals and options
• Debt Management including when, where and how to refer young people for money advice
• Skills to engage young people in financial matters
• Identifying practical ways to use and embed the exercises/materials in your existing work
