It's Trustee Week! The annual celebration of the amazing volunteers working behind the scenes on charity Trustee Boards.
Trustees are - as the name suggests - entrusted with the charity's decision-making and provide invaluable and impartial insights to help the charity fulfil its purpose. At Youth Access, our mission is to ensure all young people can access free support on their journey into adulthood from community-based advice and counselling services that respect their rights and meet their individual needs; and our Board is constantly ensuring that we're on the right path to achieving that.
I hugely value the support, challenge and different perspectives that our Trustees bring. They approach their role with kindness and commitment to Youth Access' values and vision. I'd like to say a big thank you to all of them this Trustee Week.

We're looking to recruit four new Trustees in January. These positions will include two member Trustee positions and two external Trustee positions.
If you're a staff member within one of our member organisations, why not become a Youth Access member Trustee? No prior trustee experience is needed and we welcome staff members with experience of providing frontline services for young people.
