New Quality Standards from Youth Access
02 November, 2005
4 February 2005
Two new standard areas are now included in Youth Access's Quality Standards for youth information, advice, counselling and support services.
The standards, produced by Youth Access's Assessment, Referral and Counselling Project, will enable agencies to evaluate the quality and standard of their counselling assessment practice and develop and improve partnership working across the sectors.
Each standard has been developed as a result of evidence gathered from a variety of stakeholders, including young people, an advisory group and youth information, advice, counselling and support services nationally.
Youth Access members can download a complete manual, which includes the new standard areas free of charge. Non members can receive further information about the standards, or order a copy online via our publications pages.
