The first ever qualification in providing legal advice to young people

The Unit ‘Providing initial advice to young people on their rights under the law’ is now included in the Vulnerable Young People qualifications awarded by ABC.
These qualifications were reviewed at the beginning of this year when OFQUAL approved the addition of our unit. It is listed as an optional unit in 4 different qualifications: Level 3 Certificate and Award and Level 4 Certificate and Award.

The unit was developed by Youth Access alongside our partners in the advice sector and Skills for Justice. It is part of a whole suite of legal advice units, including a level 5 award in Providing Specialist Advice to Young People.
