Civil Legal Problems: Young People, Social Exclusion and Crime

Description: This briefing sets out summary findings from the 2010 wave of the Civil and Social Justice Panel Survey (CSJPS), alongside supplementary findings from the earlier (but larger) 2006-9 Civil and Social Justice Survey (CSJS). The summary findings reveal the experience of civil legal problems by young people in England and Wales, and place this experience in a broader context. The findings illustrate clear links between civil legal problems, social exclusion and crime.
