This briefing paper sets out findings from the 2010 wave of the Civil and Social Justice Panel Survey (CSJPS), alongside supplementary findings from the earlier (but larger) 2006-9 Civil and Social Justice Survey (CSJS).
The findings:
- Reveal the experience of civil legal problems faced by young people in England and Wales, and place this experience in a broader context.
- Illustrate clear links between civil legal problems, social exclusion and crime.
