The OtRt training workshop offer
Youth Access aims to develop and roll out the offer of a free combined package of training and support. This offer is designed to improve practice and help strengthen the capacity of youth counselling agencies to survive the current wave of cuts so that they are in a position to both protect and extend their share of public sector funding in the coming years.
OtRt training workshops
We are offering two different workshops in two phases to respond to the needs of youth counselling managers and practitioners identified in the recent OtRt survey. The workshops for phase one and phase two will focus on two separate areas Quality Standards and Counselling Outcome Measures in the context of the New Commissioning environment. Phase one workshops will introduce participants to the Outcome Measures and Quality Standards relevant to youth counselling agencies in the current context. Phase two workshops will target managers and practitioners who are already using Outcome Measures and Standards and want to consider the use of a wider range of measures and standards in the new commissioning environment.
Youth Access will offer 10 workshops in total with five focusing on Quality Standards and five on Counselling Outcome Measures. Phase one workshops start in February 2012 and phase 2 workshops in late 2012 early 2013.
