Staff team
Jessica is our Community Communications Lead. Joining the team in January 2022, Jessica leads our communications outputs and strategy.
After completing an MA in Sociology (focusing on environmental degradation, sustainability and the media) at Lancaster University, Jessica specializes in communicating complex issues such as climate change and social justice. Through her special interests and research, she has also worked on sustainability outreach projects with widening participation groups, environmental organizations and campaign groups.
Before joining Youth Access, Jessica’s previous roles included teaching young people in the UK and overseas and working in communications for an environmental organization and a students’ union to inspire positive change.
In her free time, you’ll most likely find Jess with a camera in hand enjoying the great outdoors with her goofy Golden Retriever, Whiskey.
