'Generation Covid'?

Briefing paper
In 2021, Youth Access received funding from the Youth Futures Foundation to engage young people and our members to improve services responding to the socio-economic problems facing young people as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funding supported us to provide infrastructural support to members through new research, resources, youth participation programmes and a community of practice for YIACS practitioners. One of these research projects was a review into the impact Covid-19 had on the health, economic wellbeing and employment status of young people accessing local support services.
Funded by the Youth Futures Foundation, we commissioned the University of East London to conduct a mixed-methods research study, comprising of a rapid evidence review, qualitative and quantitative research methods. The study involved a mix of 40 young people and member participants from across England.
