In partnership with a local Academy, Berwick Youth Project delivers an alternative education curriculum for sixth formers identified as having some degree of learning difficulty.
A recent Ofsted inspection of the Academy highlighted high ambition for post-16 studies and effective partnership working.
Impact so far
With grant funding from the North Tyne Combined Authority (a partnership of seven local authorities in the north of England), Berwick Youth Project has been commissioned to provide support to young people from the Academy, in order to develop youth employment pathways and independent skills work.
