New Horizon Youth Centre provides crucial support for young people between 16-and 24 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, with a goal to help improve their well-being and their economic circumstances and, ultimately, find somewhere safe that they can call home. New Horizon offers both short and long-term help via a day centre located on Chalton Street, which is open Monday to Friday between 10:30-4pm, as well as providing remote support, a street outreach program operating out of hours, and a 26-bed youth hub based in Islington. Young people have access to everything they need to get back on their feet, from practical basics of hot food, showers and laundry to help to find accommodation, training and employment, and a range of personal development workshops including life skills, sports, music and protected spaces. our newly established health provision also provides counselling, communication skill support, referrals to mental health services, and medical treatment.
