Sheffield Futures is a local young people's charity that exists to support young people living in Sheffield to live happy, healthy lives. We provide young people with the tools and opportunities they need and aim to ensure young people feel safe, supported, and included. Being authentically youth-led is fundamental to our work and we aim to elevate and amplify youth voice and youth action across our services.

Our current service offer includes:

  • Early intervention mental health and wellbeing support, through group work and 1:1 support. We offer structured and unstructured support within this service.
  • Social prescribing embedded in 6 Primary Care Networks across Sheffield.
  • Careers advice for Y11s embedded in 6 secondary schools across Sheffield.
  • Employability support for 18+ with a particular focus on care-experienced young people.
  • Counselling, including specialist support for bereavement and domestic abuse.

Our city centre home is an open-access space for young people to occupy as they desire. We have free WIFI and computer access, places to charge devices, board games and books. We rent office and delivery space to like-minded organisations who support young people in areas of sexual health and sexual identity, skills training, wellbeing through sport, and more.
