Breaking Down the Barriers toolkit

'Breaking Down the Barriers' was an award-winning three-year programme funded by the Department of Health.

The overarching aim of the project was to work with the Statutory and Voluntary Sectors to facilitate effective responses to meet the mental health needs of 16 to 25 year olds, by enhancing provision and developing the role of young people’s counselling services across England.

A toolkit of was produced at the end of the programme and key recommendations, based on the gaps and barriers found in the voluntary and statutory sectors, were also made.
