This charter was created by over 200 young people from across the country, and outlines how services can deliver a young person-centred mental health and wellbeing service.
This resource was developed as part of our Department of Health and Social Care funded IQ Project, which supports a new vision for young people’s mental health and wellbeing; one in which accessible, self-referral YIACS are a key part of every local offer.
The charter sits alongside a suite of complementary resources produced by Youth Access, including:
- Another Way: Defining the functions and characteristics of YIACS
- Delivering Better – a competency framework for YIACS (accessible to full members only)
- YIACS Purpose, Values and Principles
